Dongfang Turbine and Daming Heavy Industry Successfully Held the Signing and Unveiling Ceremony of Deepening Cooperation

On December 20, Liu Hui, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dongfang Electric Group Dongfang Turbine Co., Ltd, Li Yan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, Zhang Shaoxian, Senior Advisor, Zhang Yahui, Vice Minister of the Materials and Security Department, and Zhang Liang, Vice Minister of the Production Department, etc., visited Daming to sign a contract on deepening the cooperation and to unveil the plaque of the Demonstration Base of DAMING Heavy Industry and Dongfang Turbine Manufacturing along the river.

Signing and Unveiling Ceremony

During the ceremony, both parties signed the framework agreement, the agreement on the establishment of the joint working group, the contract of Shidao Bay low-pressure inner cylinder, as well as jointly unveiled the plaque for the Dongfang Turbine Along-the-River Manufacturing Demonstration Base in the presence of relevant leaders.

Vice General Manager Li Yan and President Chen Ning signed the framework agreement on behalf of both parties.

Vice Minister Mr. Zhang Yahui and Chief Engineer Mr. Wang Yimin signed the agreement on the establishment of joint working group on behalf of both parties.

Mr. Zhang Liang, Vice Minister, and Mr. Zhu Limin, General Manager, signed the contract of Shidao Bay low-pressure inner cylinder on behalf of both parties.

The two sides also reviewed the cooperation history, and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics such as how to deepen strategic cooperation, ensure quality and quantity delivery of projects, meet the manufacturing needs of projects, strengthen the party building linkage, intelligent digital construction, etc., and unanimously expressed that they would further strengthen exchanges and cooperation, and through the complementarity of strengths and weaknesses, jointly promote the high-quality development of China’s high-end energy equipment manufacturing industry.

Base Visit

Before the ceremony, Chairman Liu Hui and his team, accompanied by Chairman Zhou Keming, also visited Daming Heavy Industry, the production site of Jingjiang Processing Center and the logistics terminal, and gained an in-depth understanding of Daming’s strengths in material supply, advanced equipment, technical services and other aspects.

The signing and unveiling of the plaque is a direct testimony of the friendly cooperation between the two sides and the fruitful cooperation in many fields, which will further boost the confidence and determination of win-win development of both sides.
