Daming Joins Hands with CRSIC and Wanlong Ship to Serve Chemical Tanker Project

Daming launched a 6,800-ton duplex stainless steel project for the chemical tanker project WL009/WL010t from China Shipbuilder backbone, Wanlong Ship.

The 6,800-ton duplex stainless steel products will be fabricated jointly by Daming Heavy Industry, Daming Precision, and Jingjiang Daming.

Leaders from CRSIC (China Railway Science & Industry Group Co., ltd), shipowners Drerritt.M.H. Simonson APS and NSB, Yangzhou Wanlong Ship and Daming witnessed the kick-off ceremony together.

He said that from the early stage of the project to the landing of the program, the team of Wanlong Ship and Daming Heavy Industry have always been working closely together professionally, which fully demonstrates Wanlong’s “strive for excellence” and also highlights the strength of the platform of Daming as a leader in the industry and the ability to integrate resources. Relying on the scale advantage of Daming’s alll-process manufacturing platform and the advantages of Daming port terminal, Daming Heavy Industry will continue to optimize the process, improve efficiency, strictly control quality, and ensure the in-time delivery, ensuring the high standard of the project.

Mr. Xu Gejing, Deputy General Manager of Yangzhou Bandung, said that Wanlong and Daming Heavy Industry will give full play to their respective advantages in technology, manufacturing and resources, and promote the project with high standards and strict requirements. He pointed out that the excellent team and staff with outstanding skills emerged on the platform of Daming Heavy Industry are the core force for both sides to deliver high-quality projects, and believed that both sides could realize a win-win situation of efficiency and quality and create more value for customers under the close collaboration and complementary advantages.

The leaders also visited Daming Jingjiang base and Daming Yangtze River Terminal, witnessing Daming’s lean production site and “one-stop” service strength from high-quality material supply and coherent processing and manufacturing to efficient logistics.
