About Chongqing Daming

Chongqing Daming Metal Technology Co., Ltd. is a joint venture formed by Daming International, Chongqing Steel, and the Chongqing Changshou Economic and Technological Development Zone. The company is based in the Chongqing Steel Plant at No. 2 Jiangnan Avenue, in the Changshou District of Chongqing, providing convenient access to water and land transportation.

Baowu Group is the actual controller of Chongqing Steel.

Service Capability

Chongqing Daming focuses on delivering all-in-one solutions, covering material sourcing, processing, logistics, and distribution for customers across various industries, including machinery manufacturing, steel structures, commercial vehicles, construction machinery, and shipbuilding.

The current plant area is over 20,000 square meters, and there are plans to implement industry-leading processing technology platforms, including slitting and cut-to-length, laser cutting, flame cutting, rolling, bending, beveling, and pretreatment, all of which ensure superior processing quality and remarkable efficiency.

Once all the equipment is operational, it will be capable of processing 700,000 tons of hot-rolled steel each year.

Strategic Network

As the 11th processing service center of Daming International, a Top 500 Chinese Enterprise, within the national chain framework, Chongqing Daming has enhanced the service network of Daming Group in the southwest area and bolstered its capacity to deliver services locally.

Chongqing Daming represents another groundbreaking pilot outcome of the deep integration model between Daming Group and steel mills. It will be developed into a comprehensive processing service hub that combines material, parts, and semi-finished products processing with efficient logistics and distribution. This initiative aims to fully leverage and integrate the ‘zero distance’ material resource distribution of Chongqing Steel with the processing service strengths of Daming, thereby extending the services offered by steel mills and improving the service capabilities for end-users. This expansion of steel mill services also enhances the connection with end customers.
