KBS & Civmec Visits Daming to Explore Supply Chain Cooperation Opportunities

On July 29, Michael, Managing Director of KBS & Civmec, and Brendan O’Mahony, Operations Manager, visited Daming for a business exchange focused on supply chain cooperation and manufacturing capabilities.

The meeting was attended by Wang Xi, Vice President of Daming Heavy Industry Group and General Manager of Daming Energy Equipment, Wang Xuming, General Manager of Daming International Import & Export, Zhou Yingyu, Deputy General Manager of Daming International Import & Export, Ren Lei, Sales Director of Daming Energy Equipment, Fan Dongmei, Manager of the Stainless Steel Business Department at Daming International Import & Export, and other representatives.

During the discussion, both companies introduced their latest business development, core capabilities, and future plans. The two sides exchanged views on supply chain coordination, resource integration, and potential cooperation opportunities in industrial equipment manufacturing.

Daming presented its integrated service capabilities covering material sourcing, cutting, forming, fabrication, quality control, and logistics support. By combining processing expertise with a complete supply chain system, Daming provides customers with efficient and reliable manufacturing solutions from raw materials to finished components. The two sides discussed opportunities for further cooperation in areas including large tank prefabrication and other customized fabrication projects.

The KBS & Civmec team recognized Daming’s comprehensive manufacturing capabilities and supply chain advantages. They also shared insights into the Australian market, particularly the demand for mining equipment components and related fabrication services. Both sides agreed to maintain close communication and explore more opportunities based on their complementary strengths.

During the visit, the KBS & Civmec delegation toured Daming’s Wuxi headquarters, Jiangyin manufacturing base, and Yangtze River terminal facilities. The visit provided an in-depth view of Daming’s advanced equipment, production management practices, quality assurance systems, and integrated logistics capabilities.

The exchange strengthened mutual understanding between the two companies and created a foundation for future cooperation. Daming and KBS & Civmec will continue discussions on potential projects and explore new opportunities in global industrial supply chains.
