Since Daming began to build a service platform for carbon steel material and processing at the end of 2012, Daming has become an expert on high-strength steel processing and has increasing influence in the industry utilizing the group’s service advantages and strong customer support.

In the supply of high-strength steel, Daming has covered rich varieties with a thickness thin as 0.8mm and a strength of over 1400MPA.

Let’s take a look back on some historical moments of Daming’s processing services of high-strength steel & wear-resistant steel.

Year 2014

Started selling Xinyu NM400 materials

Year 2016

Daming Taiyuan Processing Center sold and processed Tisco high-strength steel

And joined hands with JFE to deepen the field of high-strength steel processing

Year 2017

Daming Processing Centers in Jingjiang, Tai’an, Hubei

Started to process high-strength steel from WISCO (Wuhan Iron and Steel) and Baotou Iron and Steel

WISCO specializes in yoke steel, wheel steel and bridge shell steel (see table on the right)

Year 2018

Daming Tianjin Processing Center also started to process high-strength steel from Baosteel.

Year 2019

Daming Processing Centers in Jingjiang, Tai’an, Tianjin, Wuhan, and Taiyuan started processing wear-resistant steel from Handan Steel, Baosteel, and TISCO.

Year 2020

Daming innovated service model and strengthened technology leadership by Joining hands with Hesteel Group to establish a new material R&D and application center

Provided EVI (Early Vendor involvement) services to connect with the terminal market, improving the techniques and quality of parts and manufacturing.

In addition, Daming partnered with China Northeastern University, Hesteel, Handan Steel, and a leading engineering machinery enterprise, jointly developed high-end wear-resistant steel products, the NM360 wear-resistant plate roller vibrator, breaking the monopoly of foreign high-end wear-resistant steel products, and won the “China Steel Industry Product Development Market Development Award”

At the beginning of 2021

Seizing the opportunity of the growth momentum of engineering dump trucks, Daming actively cooperates with Hegang and Handan Steel to develop NM450TP, a wear-resistant steel that does not require quenching and tempering,  which is equipped with dump trucks.

In 2022

based on the in-depth cooperation with Baosteel and its own excellent processing capabilities, Daming successfully cut the thin-gauge ultra-high-strength BS960E hot-rolled coil that can replace imported materials.

In 2023

it challenged and succeeded the processing of HC1030/1300MS, an ultra-thin automotive martensitic high-strength steel with a thickness of 1.6mm and a tensile strength of nearly 1400MPa.

Over the past 11 years, Daming’s capabilities of processing high-strength & wear-resistant steel have grown rapidly to a superpower with ultra-high-strength steel processing capabilities and wear-resistant steel production capacity, relying on advanced equipment clusters, professional team experience, etc.

From the bending of Zoomlion’s 1100MPA ultra-high strength steel to the 2mm Baosteel BS960E hot-rolled coil flattening, Daming’s high-strength steel processing level has been significantly improved  in terms of range and services, especially in the past two years. Daming’s high-strength steel processing is moving towards ultra-thick ultra-high strength, ultra-thin ultra-high strength, ultra-hard ultra-high strength.

In addition, wear-resistant steel processing, such as the 80-ton small mining car cargo box frame, can now produce 20 units a day instead of 2 units a day on the assembly line.

Technological breakthroughs and continuously improved high-quality and efficient supply has won the recognition and continuous cooperation of more and more customers. At present, Daming has become an excellent strategic supplier of XCMG Group, the largest supplier of blanking parts for Lingong Heavy Machinery, and a customized service model provider for Henan Juntong. It has also won the “Best Quality Award” of Zoomlion Mining Machinery, the “Performance Excellence Leader of Stable Delivery Operation of the Supply Chain of the Year” of JLG, and the “Excellent Delivery Award” of Changzhou Liugong.

In addition, it has signed strategic cooperation agreements with well-known companies such as Dongfang Electric, Sany, and Beijing Mechanical and Electrical. Collaboration, sharing, and co-creation. Daming will continue to work with leading companies in the industry to give full play to its differentiated competitive advantages and provide customers in the industrial chain with full-process services from high-quality materials to processing, manufacturing, and transportation.
