Recently, Hubei Daming broke through the technical barriers of 5083 aluminum bending processing, and delivered the first batch of aluminum parts to a customer.

Facing the processing requirements of 5083 aluminum plates with a thickness of 5-8mm and a maximum size of 6m×2m, the technical team has achieved major technological breakthroughs in the field of precision bending by process innovation + equipment breakthrough.

Breaking Materiāls Characteristics Barrier

Because of the extension and rebound coefficient of 5083 aluminum plates, and the possible cumulative deviation caused by stress release or positioning error of multiple bending, the Hubei Daming technical team first split the drawings and adopted the “physical sample” verification mode. By carrying out multiple physical samples, the bending processing sequence was optimized, and the R angle division accuracy and angle tolerance were finally determined to overcome the problem of forming accuracy control.

Zero-Scratch Protection Technology

The surface of aluminum plate is relatively soft and easy to scratch. For this technical pain point, the bending mold and the plate surface are protected accordingly to achieve zero scratches during the entire bending process of aluminum material and ensure its surface quality.
