The company recently strengthened its partnership with Yongxin Shipping while officially launching the DNV 6500DWT stainless steel vessel project, marking another important step in its expansion within the high-end shipbuilding sector.

During technical exchanges with Zhejiang Yongxin Shipping, a modern shipbuilding and ship repair enterprise located in Zhejiang Province, China,  both sides held detailed discussions on the stainless steel oil tanker project, focusing on technical challenges, production optimization, and delivery schedules. The meetings also established a dedicated coordination and support mechanism to ensure smooth project execution and close collaboration throughout the production process.

As part of the visit, Yongxin Shipping General Manager Li Changxian and his delegation toured Zhejiang Daming’s production facilities, observing the complete manufacturing workflow, including cutting, planing, welding, and bending of ship plates. The delegation highly recognized the company’s advanced processing capabilities, rigorous quality standards, and efficient production management.

Simultaneous Major Projects Drive Production Momentum

Leveraging its extensive experience in shipbuilding equipment manufacturing, Zhejiang Daming has developed a comprehensive partnership with Yongxin Shipping. Under the cooperation agreement, multiple BV-certified ship plate projects will be processed concurrently, while Zhejiang Daming independently provides full-process manufacturing services for several 7500DWT stainless steel oil tankers.

At the same time, another technically demanding project — the DNV 6500DWT stainless steel ship plate processing program for Dashenzhou Shipyard — has officially entered production at Zhejiang Daming’s facility. Representatives from the shipowner attended the launch ceremony on-site and initiated equipment operations, signaling the formal start of manufacturing.

With both projects progressing simultaneously, Zhejiang Daming’s production capacity, operational efficiency, and integrated service capabilities are being fully demonstrated.
