One of the standout projects, commissioned by a major shipyard in Nantong, involves processing more than 2,100 tons of specialized ship plates. This large-scale order encompasses a range of complex operations—including cutting, planing, welding, bending, and groove assembly—all requiring high precision and tight scheduling.
Despite the project’s scale and technical challenges, Daming’s production, sales, and technical teams have worked seamlessly together to ensure steady progress and on-time delivery.

Rigorous Inspections, Proven Quality

Recognizing the project’s importance, both the shipowner and shipyard have implemented exceptionally strict inspection standards. Recently, representatives from both sides conducted an on-site audit at Jingjiang Daming’s facilities, carefully reviewing every stage of production—from cutting and planing to welding, bending, and assembly.

The welding process, a critical component of the project, received particular attention. Inspectors examined process qualifications, certifications, and on-site operations. Following the inspection, the shipowner praised Daming’s meticulous quality control, process management, and production efficiency—reinforcing confidence in the project’s success and paving the way for continued collaboration.

From Standard to Specialized: Precision in Every Plate

Beyond conventional pre-processing, Jingjiang Daming provides a full range of customized ship plate solutions to meet diverse client needs, including Z-type, Ω-type, and variable-diameter curved plates.

Notably, Daming’s proprietary “Z-type multi-thickness metal plate welding and bending” process has earned a national invention patent, highlighting its leadership in technological innovation. The company has also developed extensive expertise in Ω-shaped plate fabrication, further strengthening its competitive advantage.
