Executive Officer of Komatsu Industries Visits Daming Heavy Industry

On July 2, Dr. Yukihiko Ono, the Executive Officer of Komatsu Industries Corp.; Yohei Nakayama, the Chief of the Production Technology Division within the Production Department of Komatsu Kanazawa Plant; Fan Tianhong, the Deputy Director of Komatsu Industries (Shanghai) Ltd; Kumiko Yamauchi, the Director of Itochu Automobile Corporation; Wang Xuanli, the Division Manager of Itochu Marubeni Steel (Shanghai) Co., Ltd; and Jun Huang, the Division Manager of Itochu Marubeni Steel (Shanghai) Co. conducted a visit to Daming Heavy Industry for the purpose of inspection and exchange.

Chen Ning, the President of Daming Heavy Industry Group; Tian Wei, the General Manager of the Construction Machinery Division at Daming Heavy Industry; Mr. Wang Xuming, the Deputy General Manager of Daming International Import & Export; and Mr. Liu Xuezheng, the Director of the Equipment Management Department at Daming Heavy Industry, extended a warm welcome to the delegation.

As the manufacturing base of Daming International, Daming Heavy Industry primarily engages in the production of equipment for mining, heavy steel components for construction and mining machinery, pressure vessels, and substantial parts for power generation and energy storage. The products include grinding mills, thickeners, condensers, heat exchangers, excavator booms and arms, storage tanks, etc.

Together with President Chen Ning, Dr. Ono and his team toured Daming Jingjiang Processing Center, Daming Heavy Industry facility, and Daming Yangtze River Port Terminal. The visitors gained insights into Daming’s comprehensive service capabilities, which encompass a wide range of material resources, precision processing, manufacturing, and logistics, in addition to its advanced manufacturing standards in construction machinery and mining.

In the subsequent discussion, President Chen Ning extended a cordial welcome to Dr. Ono and his delegation, while also presenting the business accomplishments, industry positioning, and strategic initiatives of Daming Heavy Industry. Mr. Tian Wei, the General Manager of Daming Heavy Industry’s construction machinery division, elaborated on the service benefits offered by Daming Heavy Industry, highlighting its strengths in customer resource integration, group synergy, and comprehensive service solutions. Looking ahead, he noted that if Daming could leverage Komatsu’s welding robotic technology, it would undoubtedly enhance its performance regarding welding efficiency and quality. Furthermore, he expressed his aspiration to utilize the successful trial production at the Komatsu Kanazawa plant in March of this year as a stepping stone to offer services for other larger Komatsu products in the future.

Dr. Kunihiko Ono was impressed and acknowledged Daming’s strengths in terms of material resources, state-of-the-art equipment, process technology, and superior service. He invited Chairman Zhou Keming to bring his team for a visit and discussion at the Japanese plant, expressing a desire for both sides to discover more suitable cooperation solutions.

Director Kumiko Yamauchi, noted that Itochu Automobile has been visiting Daming multiple times since last year. She expressed her gratitude for the support received from Daming and conveyed a willingness to collaborate on Komatsu projects, hoping that both entities will find more opportunities to work together and assist each other in the global market.

Both parties also reviewed and evaluated the status of prior collaborative projects, engaged in thorough discussions regarding future cooperation and associated business advancements, and deliberated on subsequent business growth. Both sides collectively affirmed their commitment to work together to address the existing domestic and international market needs, enhance collaborative efforts, and attain mutually beneficial development.
