Daming Energy Equipment has successfully completed the first batch delivery of a large-scale 304 stainless steel baffle plate project, demonstrating its capability in heavy stainless steel fabrication and large-diameter precision machining for energy equipment applications.
The delivered baffle plates feature a thickness of 28 mm and an outer diameter of 5.8 meters, with more than 9,000 precision-machined plum-shaped holes on each plate. The combination of large dimensions, heavy plate thickness, and high-density hole patterns required strict control over material preparation, fabrication processes, and machining accuracy.

To ensure reliable project execution, Daming developed a comprehensive material supply plan at the early stage of the project. By utilizing the Group’s stainless steel inventory resources and coordinating production schedules with upstream steel suppliers, Daming secured stable raw material availability and minimized risks related to supply fluctuations.

Throughout the manufacturing process, a cross-functional project team covering engineering, production, process technology, and quality control worked closely to optimize workflow efficiency. The complete fabrication process, including cutting, edge preparation, welding, leveling, and precision machining, was systematically coordinated to ensure consistent quality and on-time delivery.
For the machining of more than 9,000 precision holes on each large-scale plate, Daming’s technical team optimized machining parameters and introduced dedicated cutting tools to improve processing efficiency while maintaining strict control of dimensional accuracy and flatness requirements. The optimized approach also contributed to reduced tool consumption and improved overall production efficiency.
