Recently, Wang Zhongbang, deputy director of the North Development Office of the Hong Kong Civil Engineering and Development Department, and his delegation visited Daming to inspect the progress of the Hong Kong S960 ultra-high-strength steel pedestrian bridge project, which is the world’s first commercial application of S960Q ultra-high-strength steel on a bridge.

Cai Yun, director of the Economic Development Bureau of Jiangyin-Jingjiang Industrial Park; Situ Shunxin, vice chairman of Daming Heavy Industry Group; Luo Zhihui, vice president, and Wang Xi, general manager of Daming Energy Equipment Company, warmly received them.

During the discussion, Sales Director Ren Lei introduced the current development of Daming Group, key service projects and future site planning of Daming, and reported in detail the delivery status, production plan and quality assurance measures of the Hong Kong S960 steel bridge project in which the two parties cooperated. Vice President Luo Zhihui introduced Daming’s subsequent development plan and the service mode of major projects, hoping that the two sides can continue to complement each other, strengthen cooperation, and find new business opportunities.

Cai Yun, Director of Jiangyin-Jingjiang Economic Development Bureau, warmly welcomed the visit of the Hong Kong Civil Engineering and Development Department, and gave a detailed introduction to the current status of the park’s operation and development, fully recognized the outstanding contribution of Daming Heavy Industry in the project. Vice Chairman Situ Shunxin introduced Daming Heavy Industry’s operation, and General Manager Wang Xi expressed full confidence in the completion and delivery of the project.

Mr. Wang Zhongbang, Deputy Director of CEDD, introduced the background of the project, which is the result of technical experiments of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, assisted by the steel structure experts of Tsinghua University, designed and supervised by AECOM, a Fortune 500 company, and undertaken by Daming Heavy Industry. He was very satisfied with the project delivery progress and quality performance of Daming Heavy Industry, appreciated the hard work and professional service of Daming in the steel bridge project, and also thanked the park and local government for the strong support of Daming’s production work, and then discussed how to achieve synergistic development through the complementarity of strengths, and constantly increase technological innovation.

Accompanied by Ren Lei, Sales Director, the Hong Kong team also visited Daming Jingjiang Manufacturing Base and Yangtze River Terminal to witness Daming’s one-stop service advantages in material supply, advanced equipment, technical services, logistics, transportation, etc.

When visiting the production site of the S960 Ultra-high-strength Steel Pedestrian Bridge Project.The delegation unanimously praised Daming’s professional manufacturing level and rigorous quality pursuit. Mr. Wang Zhongbang, deputy director of the company, said that he would report the progress of the project to the Hong Kong government and the people when he returned to Hong Kong. Finally, he personally presented a photo album of the construction of the S960 steel bridge project in Hong Kong, on which both sides signed and exchanged souvenirs.
