Daming International Holdings conducted a strategic visit to Dongfang Electric Corporation (DEC) on August 22. The visit reflects both parties’ commitment to advancing industrial integration and strengthening the resilience of China’s high-end equipment supply chain and underscores the deepening ties between two of China’s key players in the energy equipment and industrial manufacturing sectors.
The Daming delegation, led by Chairman Zhou Keming, included President Liang Zongren, Vice President of Daming Heavy Industry Luo Zhihui, and Deputy General Manager of Daming Energy Equipment Zhu Limin. The delegation was received by Wang Jun, DEC vice president and member of the Party Committee, alongside senior executives from Dongfang Turbine, Dongfang Boiler, the Procurement Center, and key departments responsible for project management, supply chain, quality, and safety.
During the visit, the delegation toured the Dongfang Electric Technology Exhibition Hall, where DEC showcased its advancements in intelligent manufacturing, clean energy equipment, and large-scale power systems—demonstrating its strategic emphasis on innovation-driven growth and equipment localization.
In a subsequent strategic dialogue, Vice President Wang Jun expressed appreciation for Daming International’s long-standing support and emphasized the potential for expanded cooperation in both upstream and downstream segments of the industrial chain. “As China’s energy landscape evolves, DEC looks forward to leveraging Daming’s comprehensive capabilities in materials, fabrication, and logistics to enhance our project execution, cost control, and supply chain resilience,” Wang stated. He also noted the potential for capital-level collaboration, aiming to elevate joint efforts from operational coordination to strategic alignment.
Chairman Zhou Keming provided a detailed overview of Daming Group’s development trajectory, current production capacities, and future transformation goals. He reaffirmed Daming’s commitment to aligning with DEC’s long-term objectives through continued investment in automation, digital manufacturing, and supply chain optimization. “We are accelerating the upgrade of our manufacturing systems to support partners like DEC in delivering high-quality, high-efficiency solutions across major energy infrastructure projects,” Zhou remarked. “We see significant opportunity to deepen collaboration in intelligent manufacturing, materials technology, and industrial services.”
Both sides agreed to pursue comprehensive cooperation spanning industrial supply chain integration, process innovation, product co-development, and resource sharing. The partnership aims to create a more agile, competitive, and sustainable value chain that serves both domestic and international energy markets.
This strategic engagement not only reinforces the strong working relationship between Daming International and Dongfang Electric Corporation but also exemplifies how cross-sector collaboration can enhance global capabilities in high-end equipment manufacturing, technological innovation, and energy transformation.
