Daming Advances Another Green Steel Export Project Through Supply Chain Collaboration

Jingjiang Daming has successfully completed its first green steel project in collaboration with an overseas client, shipping over 600 tonnes of low-carbon steel to Auckland, New Zealand. This milestone highlights Daming’s capabilities in delivering customized, high-quality steel solutions to international markets.

Daming Advances Another Green Steel Export Project Through Supply Chain Collaboration

The project required steel produced to the 350L15Z25 specification, with finished plates ranging from 12 mm to 80 mm thick, 300 mm wide, and up to 15,550 mm long, featuring high length-to-width ratios and strict straightness requirements. Drawing on its experience in overseas low-carbon steel projects, Daming leveraged its strengths in supply chain integration, raw material traceability, multi-process coordination, and end-to-end quality control to meet these demanding requirements.

Through early coordination with leading domestic mills, Daming secured materials efficiently and minimized waste, while customized identification markings ensured full traceability throughout the supply chain. Cutting, grinding, leveling, and other processing operations were carefully coordinated, with additional equipment deployed as needed to ensure on-time delivery without compromising quality.

By combining Daming’s comprehensive green steel services—including processing, inspection, carbon footprint traceability, and cross-border delivery—with the customer’s digital steel service platform, the collaboration established a seamless supply chain covering domestic production, international certification, and overseas customs clearance.

This partnership will support key projects in Auckland, including construction infrastructure, renewable energy steel structures, and port facilities, showcasing China’s progress in green steel production and sustainable industrial transformation.
