Daming Heavy Industry shipped dozens of ultra-high-strength steel structures for a Hong Kong pedestrian bridge project, satisfying customers with the delivery progress and quality.

The Hong Kong S960 ultra-high-strength steel pedestrian bridge project is the world’s first commercial application of S960Q ultra-high-strength steel on a bridge.

While demonstrating Daming’s strength in UHSS processing and fabrication, it also expanded its reputation as a UHSS expert.

Since 2012, Daming has built huge carbon steel material inventories and processing services. relying on the group’s service advantages and good customer base, it has rapidly grown into a high-strength steel processing expert and has accumulated a good reputation and influence in the industry.

In the field of high-strength steel services, it covers a wide range of varieties as thin as 0.8mm and with a strength of more than 1400 MPa.

• Cut-to-length sheets produced by Daming  replaced the ultra-high-strength BS960E hot-rolled coil which is an import.

• Daming challenged and succeeded in processing 1.6mm automotive martensitic ultra-thin high-strength steel HC1030/1300MS with a tensile strength of nearly 1400 MPa.

• Daming served Zoomlion in the bending of 1100 MPa ultra-thick ultra-high strength steel booms.
