In the presence of 300 guests from steel industry chain, the opening ceremony of Daming Yangtze River Terminal was grandly held July 3 after years of preparation and construction.<\/p>

As a key project of Jiangyin-Jingjiang Industrial Park, Jiangsu, China, this terminal\u00a0ushers in another\u00a0milestone in Daming’s\u00a0history of\u00a036-year development.<\/p>

Taking long and\u00a0large steel parts as its\u00a0main\u00a0transport business, the terminal occupies\u00a0a 254-meter-long\u00a0berthing shoreline, the first phase of which has a berth for 40,000-ton general cargo ships, which can\u00a0manage\u00a0the berthing operation of one 10,000-ton heavy ship and one 5,000-ton heavy ship at the same time\u00a0with two 60-ton gantries and two 1,200-ton derrick\u00a0cranes\u00a0standing by.<\/p>

As Mr Zhou Keming, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Daming\u00a0International, empasized in his welcome speech, Daming Yangtze River Terminal\u00a0is\u00a0specially positioned to serve steel industry chain.<\/p>

He pointed out that the significance of the terminal is far beyond the general logistics function. With top equipment, this terminal can not only optimize the efficiency, quality and cost of Daming\u2019s manufacturing process, but also provides a strong support to improve the transportation efficiency and reduce the cost, and vitalize the international business for a leap. The completion and opening of the terminal will be more favorable for Daming to join hands with steel mills and international trading companies to provide targeted \u201cpackage\u201d services for\u00a0 major projects of domestic and foreign key customers.<\/p>
