Düsseldorf, Germany – September 5, 2025 — In a significant step toward expanding its international collaborations and reinforcing its presence in the European market, Daming International has conducted a high-level visit to Komatsu Germany Mining, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of ultra-large mining equipment.
The delegation was led by Mr. Zhou Keming, Chairman of Daming International, and included senior executives Mr. Wang Xuming, Deputy General Manager of Daming Import and Export; Mr. Tian Wei, General Manager of Daming Heavy Industry Engineering Machinery; Mr. Wang Xi, General Manager of Daming Energy Equipment; and Mr. Johnny Fornstedt, General Manager of Daming Europe.

The Daming team was warmly received by Mr. Dirk Krummel, Purchasing Director of Komatsu Germany Mining, and Mr. Michael Glaser, Senior Purchasing Manager. The two sides engaged in comprehensive discussions focused on potential collaboration in areas such as high-performance steel supply, precision component manufacturing, and advanced equipment solutions for the mining industry.
During the meeting, Mr. Krummel presented Komatsu Germany Mining’s development trajectory, product portfolio, and leading position in the field of ultra-large excavators. He praised Daming’s technical capabilities, integrated manufacturing solutions, and supply chain reliability—underscoring the company’s potential as a key strategic partner.
To further evaluate collaborative opportunities, Komatsu revealed its plans to send a technical and procurement delegation to Daming’s advanced manufacturing facilities in early 2026. This visit aims to facilitate more profound engagement and promote future joint development efforts.

Daming International showcased its full-service model, which spans materials supply, precision fabrication, and end-to-end equipment support. With a strong foundation in both the construction machinery and energy sectors, Daming highlighted its global reach, European operations, and commitment to innovation and quality.
Chairman Zhou emphasized Daming’s strategic vision and international development roadmap, noting the company’s existing collaboration with Komatsu in China and Japan. He reaffirmed Daming’s commitment to building a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership with Komatsu Germany Mining. Chairman Zhou proposed establishing a regular communication and coordination mechanism to jointly address evolving industry needs and market dynamics.
