This milestone marks not only a breakthrough for Daming but also China\u2019s first international accreditation<\/strong>\u00a0in this field, positioning the company as a global leader<\/strong>\u00a0in materials testing.<\/p>\n

A Critical Step Toward Global Mining Supply Chains<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The NC<\/strong>h<\/strong>203 certification<\/strong>\u00a0is a cornerstone standard for the mining and metallurgical sectors in Chile<\/strong>, one of the world\u2019s largest mineral exporters. It covers essential performance indicators such as tensile strength and corrosion resistance<\/strong>\u00a0for metal materials\u2014key metrics for qualifying suppliers in mining project supply chains.<\/p>\n

Only 12 laboratories globally, all located in or near Chile, had held this certification until now. As a result, Chinese companies participating in Chilean projects were required to send samples abroad for testing, facing long wait times of up to 2\u20133 months<\/strong>, high logistics costs, and complex procedures.<\/p>\n

Daming Heavy Industry began pursuing NCh203 accreditation in 2022<\/strong>, forming a dedicated task force and engaging in multiple rounds of technical negotiations and audits<\/strong>\u00a0with Chilean authorities. After three years of persistent effort, the company achieved full compliance and was officially accredited on August 6, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
