The Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum\u2019s Yan’an LNG Project, which was generally contracted by Beijing Petrochemical Engineering, has made significant progress.<\/p>\n

LNG Tank Dome Lifting Finishes in Yan’an<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Two 50,000 m\u00b3 LNG storage tanks have successfully completed the key process of double tank synchronous dome lifting, marking the completion of the main structure construction of the project and the formal entry into the internal tank installation stage, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent commissioning and operation of the project.<\/p>\n

Jingjiang Daming has played\u00a0to\u00a0its\u00a0strength\u00a0and provided 7,000 tons of 9% Nickel\u00a0steel prefabricated\u00a0for the LNG storage tank, including\u00a0the wall panels and bottom plates of the inner and outer shells, once again demonstrating Daming’s service strength in this field.<\/p>\n

Daming and partners, Beijing Petroleum Engineering and CITIC Pacific Special Steel were also invited to attend the ceremony to witness the big\u00a0moment of this cooperative achievement.<\/p>\n

As the most challenging part of the LNG tank construction process, the pneumatic\u00a0lifting\u00a0process is highly difficult and risky. The No. 1 and No. 2 tanks for the implementation of dome lifting\u00a0adopt advanced bimetallic full-capacity structure, with the inner diameter of the outer tank reaching 52 meters and the span of the vault 51.8 meters. In the precision operation that lasted 2 hours and 18 minutes, the dome of the tank weighing 457.37 tons per unit was successfully lifted smoothly by 29.57 meters, and finally realized the accurate docking with the pressure ring, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent dome lifting of the No. 3 and No. 4 tanks.<\/p>\n

As a key livelihood project in Yan’an, the project is designed to produce 400,000 tons of LNG annually. After the completion of the project, it will effectively solve the gas demand of the residents in Yan’an and the surrounding areas, will continue to reduce carbon emissions, and is of great significance in optimizing the regional energy structure, guaranteeing the safety of people’s livelihood gas consumption, and promoting the green development of the old revolutionary area.<\/p>\n

So far, Daming has served more than 70 LNG tanks and more than 100,000 tons of material prefabrication and processing, covering more than 40% of LNG receiving terminals from Guangxi to Caofeidian in Tianjin, which has gained the unanimous recognition from LNG project sites, and will gradually develop overseas LNG projects and land-based LNG receiving terminal projects in the future.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
