Daming International Strengthens Partnership with Baosteel Desheng Through Strategic Visit

On March 17, Zhou Keming, Chairman of Daming International, along with senior executives Xia Hongwei, General Manager of the Stainless Steel Business Unit, and Yang Shun, General Manager of Xiehao Supply Chain, visited Baosteel Desheng Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. to deepen the ongoing collaboration between the two companies.

The Daming delegation was warmly welcomed by Baosteel Desheng’s leadership team, including Meng Wenwang, Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee, Xu Yundong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager, and Zhang Zhongchuan, General Manager of the Marketing Center. The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange insights and explore new avenues for future cooperation.

During the visit, Chairman Zhou Keming thanked Baosteel Desheng for their long-standing support and partnership. He reviewed their successful collaboration in both stainless and carbon steel over the years, while also sharing Daming’s strategic goals for 2026. Zhou emphasized the importance of continuing to work closely together, leveraging each other’s strengths, and exploring new opportunities for growth and innovation.

Chairman Meng Wenwang also shared Baosteel Desheng’s advancements in 2025, including improvements in production processes, sales, and specialty steel development. He outlined plans to further refine their product offerings in 2026, with a focus on adjusting the product mix to better meet market demands. Meng expressed confidence in the potential for continued success in their partnership, particularly in the stainless and carbon steel sectors.

The two parties also engaged in discussions on broader industry trends, such as improving efficiency and reducing costs in port transportation, as well as identifying areas for further joint development. Both sides agreed to build on the solid foundation of their existing collaboration, with a commitment to strengthening supply chain synergies and driving mutual growth.
