On December 23, a senior delegation from Daming International visited Nantong Xiangyu Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. to exchange views on shipbuilding steel applications, deep plate processing, and future cooperation in hull construction and offshore engineering projects.
The delegation was led by Chairman 은 다밍의 통합 비즈니스 모델과 해외 시장, 특히 동남아시아, 중동 및 중부 유럽 진출을 위한 미래 지향적 계획에 대해 설명했습니다. 그는 고객의 높은 맞춤형 요구와 신속한 납품 요구를 지원하는 회사의 역할을 강조했으며, 이러한 장점은 오늘날 역동적인 글로벌 제조 환경에서 점점 더 중요해지고 있다고 말했습니다. and included President 사장;, 그룹 기술총책임자 왕샤오지안, General Manager of Jingjiang Daming Deng Liangfeng, 대명중공업 마케팅총괄 왕칭웨이, and Deputy General Manager of Jingjiang Daming Yuan Kang.

The delegation was warmly received by Zhu Jianhua, Vice Chairman of Xiangyu, along with Zhu Ling, Assistant General Manager, Peng Weibing, Project Director, and Ma Haibo, Manager. Accompanied by Xiangyu’s management team, the visitors toured the company’s production workshops, block assembly areas, and dock facilities, gaining firsthand insight into its ship construction processes, offshore engineering project execution, and lean production management.
Aligning Strengths Across the Shipbuilding Steel Supply Chain
During the subsequent discussion, Vice Chairman Zhu Jianhua introduced Xiangyu Marine Equipment’s management system, core shipbuilding product portfolio, production and operational achievements, and long-term development strategy. He noted that as a domestically leading and internationally competitive manufacturer of shipbuilding and marine equipment, Xiangyu places high importance on the stability, quality, and delivery capability of its upstream steel plate supply.

Zhu emphasized that Daming International’s strong capabilities in shipbuilding steel plate processing, precision manufacturing, and supply-chain integration are highly compatible with Xiangyu’s requirements for high-quality hull structures, offshore platforms, and marine equipment. He expressed his expectation that both parties would continue to deepen collaboration in material application, processing technology, and supply model innovation to jointly enhance shipbuilding efficiency and product quality.
Daming International’s Core Advantages in Shipbuilding Steel Plates
Chairman Zhou Keming highly praised Xiangyu Marine Equipment’s achievements in shipbuilding management, construction efficiency, and large-scale project delivery. He also provided a detailed introduction to Daming Group’s shipbuilding-related business layout and technical strengths.

As a leading steel processing and manufacturing service provider, Daming International has built comprehensive capabilities in the supply, processing, fabrication and integrated delivery of shipbuilding and offshore engineering steel plates, including:
Classification society–certified carbon steel and high-strength ship plates, covering grades for hull structures, decks, bulkheads, and offshore modules
Wide and heavy plate flattening, leveling, cutting, beveling, and edge preparation, meeting high-precision welding and assembly requirements
One-stop processing services, including plasma, flame, and laser cutting, forming, and pre-processing of ship plate components
Stable sourcing from leading domestic and international steel mills, ensuring material traceability, consistency, and compliance with ship classification society standards
Efficient logistics and delivery systems supporting large-format plates, tight shipyard schedules, and just-in-time supply models
By replacing traditional single-sheet rolled plates with classification society–approved carbon steel flat plates, Daming helps shipyards improve material utilization, reduce deformation during fabrication, enhance welding quality, and optimize overall construction efficiency and cost control.
Deepening Practical Cooperation for High-Quality Shipbuilding
Focusing on the evolving needs of the shipbuilding and offshore engineering industry, both parties held in-depth discussions on topics such as ship plate deep processing solutions, standardized material supply for hull blocks, and collaborative innovation in steel application. Drawing on past cooperation experience, the discussions reached multiple consensuses on improving communication mechanisms, expanding cooperation scope, and upgrading cooperation models from material supply to deeper technical and process-level collaboration.
Both sides unanimously expressed their commitment to leveraging complementary strengths, strengthening long-term strategic cooperation, and jointly promoting the high-quality, efficient, and sustainable development of China’s shipbuilding and marine engineering industry.
