The customer has high requirements for processing accuracy, but the original plates are ultra-thin, ultra-long, and ultra-wide. After lifted, the plates undulate heavily, which is a big challenge for on-site bending.

How Hubei Daming Reacted

The production team of Hubei Daming actively coordinated. With the cooperation of other members, two female operators from the bending machine team used their rich experience and flexible response to overcome a series of challenges. A large number of bending knives were applied, and the plates need to be turned over meanwhile, which posed a high risk but still required high processing precision.

The operators carefully adjusted the relevant auxiliary equipment and cleverly used the driving hook to complete the efficient optimization of plates hanging, turning, and piling.

In the end, the bending time was reduced safely and the order was delivered on time. It is a model of the perfect combination of man and machine.

Since the bending production line was put into use in Hubei Daming, orders have been rushing in. The entire workshop follows the 5S standard management, and strives to create industry benchmark products.

At present, the bending line has a total of 7 bending machines, processing thickness of 1-40 mm, throat depth of 0-1 m, bending length of 0.5-12.5 m, processing angle accuracy of ± 0.3 degrees, which can cover the conventional plates such as Q235B, Q355B, as well as the bending business for the marine ABCD class AH36, DH36, etc..
