Daming International látogat Baosteelbe

Daming International visited Baosteel and both parties agreed to deepen and broaden partnership in a complementary way.

Board Chairman Zhou Keming led Daming team, including President Liang Zongren, President Assistant Zhang Jun, Group Technical Director Wang Xiaojian, Group Carbon Steel Division General Manager Jiang Suiqiang, Jingjiang Daming General Manager Deng Liangfeng, Zhejiang Daming General Manager Zhou Xiaodong, Wuxi Daming General Manager Wan Ling went to Baosteel for exchanges.

Zou Jixin, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of China Baowu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Baosteel; Peng Jun, Assistant to the General Manager and General Manager of the Marketing Center (Baosteel International) and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Marketing System; Lv Yunyong, Director of the Office; Ding Jianhua, General Manager of the Thick Plate Business Unit and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Li Zigang, Vice President of the Central Research Institute and General Manager of Baosteel New Chuangxiang; Xu Yaqi, General Manager of the Hot Rolled Sales Department of the Marketing Center (Baosteel International); Liu Bo, General Manager of Steel Trade Company, and Zhou Zhongxi, General Manager of Central China Company, warmly received Daming Team.

During the discussion and exchange, the leaders of both sides shared their production and operation situation, and discussed how to better synergize the cooperation. Daming team focused on its advantages of industrial network, service network and strategic planning, and proposed to fully rely on the location and logistics resources of Daming Yangtze River Terminal to deepen the synergistic partnership with Baosteel in varieties of steel supply and high-end material research and development. Chairman Zou Jixin also expressed the expectation of giving full play to the advantages of Daming’s high-end equipment cluster and Baosteel’s high-end materials, and seeking a win-win situation by combining strengths in high-end, multi-base and large-scale projects.

Both sides agreed that through the integration of Baosteel’s advanced technology research and development capabilities and Daming’s processing, manufacturing and distribution service advantages, acceleration of material upgrading and product innovation could be achieved, which can provide users with higher value-added solutions.

Daming will take “advantage complementarity and resource sharing” as the principle, focus on the high-end application scenarios of Baosteel’s steel varieties, and jointly explore the path of material customization, process optimization and market promotion.

This exchange visit marks a new stage in the cooperation between Daming International and Baosteel. As leading enterprises in the field of domestic steel materials, the two sides will combine their strengths and continuously cover the whole chain of cooperation from R&D, production to terminal services, thus helping to improve the overall competitiveness of the industrial chain, providing downstream users with better products and services, and injecting vitality into the industry’s technological innovation.
