Daming Honored by KADANT with 20-Year Outstanding Service Award

Daming was recently presented with KADANT’s “20-Year Outstanding Service Award” at the KADANT 2026 Supplier Conference, recognizing two decades of close cooperation and Daming’s consistent support in material supply and metal processing.

Wang Xi, Vice President of Daming Heavy Industry Group and General Manager of Daming Energy Equipment, attended the conference as a supplier representative and delivered a speech. He introduced Daming’s integrated metal processing platform, covering material supply, cutting and forming, precision machining and component manufacturing. He also highlighted several representative projects serving the paper industry and reviewed the development of Daming’s cooperation with KADANT.

The partnership began in 2006, initially covering raw materials and a limited range of cut-to-size components. Following the establishment of Daming Heavy Industry in 2015, the cooperation expanded into deeper processing, including machined components and screen plates. This broader manufacturing capability enabled Daming to provide KADANT with more integrated support beyond material supply.

The two companies further strengthened their cooperation during the challenging market conditions of 2021, when Daming maintained stable production and delivery to support KADANT’s operations. The partnership reached another milestone in 2023, when Daming supplied grinding disc components that demonstrated the efficiency and reliability of the established production and coordination process. KADANT subsequently recognized Daming’s contribution with a letter of appreciation.

Since 2024, cooperation has continued to expand into new products and applications, including UV screens and other paper-industry components. The growing scope of projects reflects the increasing depth of collaboration between the two companies and Daming’s ability to support different stages of KADANT’s manufacturing requirements.

Over the past 20 years, Daming and KADANT have maintained regular communication through site visits, technical exchanges and online discussions, allowing both sides to respond efficiently to changing project requirements and identify new opportunities for cooperation.

The 20-Year Outstanding Service Award recognizes the strength and continuity of this long-term partnership. Looking ahead, Daming will continue to develop its capabilities in the paper industry and provide integrated material and manufacturing solutions, supporting KADANT with reliable supply, responsive service and expanded processing capabilities.
