On October 11, Lai Xiaomin, Deputy Secretary and President of Baowu Group Zhongnan Steel Party Committee, Feng Minda, General Manager of Leju Trading Group, Shao Linfeng, Member of the Standing Committee of Zhongnan Steel Party Committee and Senior Vice President, Xie Chao, Senior Vice President of Chongqing Steel, Zhang Yuanjie, Vice President of Chongqing Steel and General Manager of Marketing Center, Gong Han, General Manager of Echeng Steel Marketing Center, Jiang Fan, Marketing Management Director of Zhongnan Steel Marketing Center, Zheng Yulong, Administrative Comprehensive Management Director of Zhongnan Co., Ltd., and others visited Daming for visits and exchanges, and signed cooperation agreements.

Accompanied by Chairman Zhou Keming and others, President Lai Xiaomin and his party first visited Daming Jingjiang Base and Yangtze River Wharf and witnessed Daming’s “one-stop” service strength from high-quality material supply to continuous processing, manufacturing, and logistics.

During the discussion, both parties introduced their respective companies’ production and operation, base layout, service advantages, and development plans, reviewed the exchanges and cooperation between the two parties in recent years; and then exchanged views on the direction of cooperation in medium and thick plates and hot-rolled coil products, and planned and discussed the joint venture projects in Chongqing that are being promoted.

Chairman Zhou Keming said that relying on many years of production operation and project service experience, he hopes to combine with Zhongnan Steel to complement each other’s strengths, reverse the time node, and make the joint venture projects landed and effective as soon as possible. President Lai Xiaomin pointed out that the three major bases of Zhongnan Steel, Chongqing Steel, Hubei Steel and Shaoguan Steel are moving towards green, high-end, intelligent and efficient directions. At the same time, he expressed his confidence in adhering to the concept of “co-construction, sharing and win-win”, working with Daming to create a high-quality steel ecosystem, and continuously extending the service of the industrial chain.

Witnessed by the participants, Xie Chao, senior vice president of Chongqing Steel, and Qian Li, executive vice president of Daming International, signed the industrial chain joint venture cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties. Both parties agreed that they would take this signing as a new starting point for cooperation and work together to move towards more ways, wider fields and deeper strategic cooperation goals.
