On December 11, Chongqing Changshou District government, Chongqing Iron & Steel (a member of BAOWU), and Daming International gathered in Chongqing, the “River City”, to hold a signing ceremony for a tripartite joint venture cooperation memorandum for a steel fabrication project.<\/p>\n

Jiang Xia, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Changshou District and Wang Huxiang, Chairman of Chongqing Iron & Steel and Zhou Keming, Chairman of the Board of Daming International, attended the ceremony with their teams.<\/p>\n

The Daming\u00a0International team visited the selected site of the project, accompanied by Ran Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Changshou Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Chairman Wang Huxiang.<\/p>\n

The subsequent signing ceremony of the tripartite joint venture cooperation memorandum was presided over by Meng Wenwang, president and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Chongqing\u00a0Iron &\u00a0Steel. Kuang Yunlong, senior vice president of Chongqing\u00a0Iron &\u00a0Steel, introduced the progress of the tripartite cooperation project.<\/p>\n

Before the signing, Chairman Zhou Keming, Chairman Wang Huxiang, and Dai Ming, Governor of Changshou District, respectively introduced the development, service strength and advantages of each party, and expressed their confidence and good expectations for the win-win cooperation of the three parties. They strongly believed that with the early commissioning of the Chongqing base and the continuous improvement of service capabilities, the three parties will be able to achieve more win-win results and work together to create greater value!<\/p>\n

Under the witness of the relevant leaders attending the meeting, Zhang Tao, Director of the Development and Reform Commission of Changshou District, Qian Li, Executive Vice President of Daming International, and Kuang Yunlong, Senior Vice President of Chongqing\u00a0Iron &\u00a0Steel, signed a memorandum of cooperation on the joint venture of steel fabrication\u00a0projects on behalf of the three parties.<\/p>\n

  • Significance and Prospects of <\/strong>This <\/strong>Chongqing Cooperation Project<\/strong>\n

    The three parties jointly established a fabrication base in Chongqing, which can not only achieve the complementary advantages and mutual integration of experience between Daming and Chongqing Iron & Steel but also have the guidance and capital injection of the Chongqing local government. This “mixed ownership” will surely bring Daming deepening cooperation, optimized governance structure, and enhanced competitiveness and will further improve Daming’s service network, so as to provide high-quality and efficient services to customers in the southwest region.<\/span><\/p>\n

    No matter how the market changes in the future, Daming will continue to stick to its original intention, uphold the cooperation concept of “co-construction, sharing and win-win”, give full play to its years of production operation and project service experience, and join forces with Chongqing Iron and Steel to complete the project and make it effective as soon as possible and work together to create a better steel ecosystem.
