Visiting Europe | Daming International Visits Alfa Laval

In a significant move to deepen international cooperation and expand global business development, Daming International Chairman Zhou Keming led a high-level delegation to visit Alfa Laval’s headquarters in Lund, Sweden, on September 2, 2025.

The visit marked an important step in strengthening the longstanding partnership between the two companies.

The Daming delegation included Chen Ning, President of Daming Heavy Industry; Wang Xuming, Deputy General Manager of Daming Import and Export; Wang Xi, General Manager of Daming Energy Equipment; Johnny Fornstedt, General Manager of Daming Europe; and Wang Jian, Head of the Sales Department of Daming Heavy Industry Process Equipment Division.

The team was warmly received by senior Alfa Laval executives, including Peter Börjesson, Global Procurement Director; Claus Möller, Procurement Manager; Jonas Tornquist, Procurement Category Leader; and Louise Linnanheimo. During the meeting, Peter Börjesson extended a cordial welcome to Chairman Zhou and his delegation, providing an overview of Alfa Laval’s headquarters operations and its second-quarter performance for 2025.

Despite global headwinds like reduced investment and softened demand, Alfa Laval has demonstrated resilience with solid profitability and stable operations across its three business segments. Börjesson also shared insights into current market conditions and Alfa Laval’s strategic direction moving forward.

President Chen Ning reflected on the successful collaboration between Daming Heavy Industry and Alfa Laval while outlining the company’s future growth plans. Discussions between Chairman Zhou and Peter Börjesson explored new opportunities for deepened cooperation, particularly in supporting Alfa Laval’s global manufacturing footprint.

Accompanied by Jonas Tornquist, the Daming delegation toured Alfa Laval’s Lund headquarters factory and visited the innovative Oceanbird production site. In the afternoon, both teams held in-depth discussions regarding the progress of ongoing joint projects and initiated dialogue on future strategic partnerships.

Alfa Laval expressed a strong interest in expanding its collaboration with Daming International, particularly in terms of supply support for its global operations.

Chairman Zhou Keming thanked Alfa Laval for its continued trust and partnership, reaffirming Daming International’s dedication to leading the pack in product quality, on-time delivery, and customer service.
