On July 28th, the 1028-ton stainless steel ethylene distillation tower of Wanhua Yantai Industrial Park Phase II 1.2 million/year ethylene project, which was manufactured by Daming Heavy Industry, and the first tower of Fujian Industrial Park gasification project were delivered in advance at the same time, and a grand delivery ceremony was held.

Wanhua Ethylene Distillation Tower Project Service Review

The 1.2 million/year ethylene project is the core of more than 20 projects in the second phase of Wanhua Yantai Industrial Park. Among them, the ethylene distillation tower equipment, as the largest stainless steel tower in Wanhua Yantai Industrial Park, is the core static equipment of the ethylene plant, with a diameter of 6.6 meters, a wall thickness of 46 mm, a length of 107 meters, and a weight of 1,028 tons.

During the manufacturing process, relying on the Group’s manufacturing integration advantages, coordinating with sister company Daming Jingjiang Processing Center to process the main plate on schedule, and giving full play to the processing strength of the unique domestic weld mechanical root clearing machine, which greatly shortened the weld clearing cycle and ensured the welding quality, and the welding qualification rate of the one-time film was as high as 99%.

The early delivery of this project is also inseparable from the day and night perseverance of all departments of Daming Heavy Industry, actively overcoming all kinds of difficulties, and boosting the smooth development of all the work, so that the project was completed 15 days ahead of schedule and reached the high quality requirements, which is of milestone significance for Daming Heavy Industry, and also marks that the overall equipment manufacturing capacity of Daming has been taken to a new level!
