On August 29, 2025, Daming International convened its 2025 Interim Results Briefing, during which the company presented a comprehensive overview of its financial and operational performance for the first half of the year, along with future strategic plans. Chairman Mr. Zhou Keming, Vice Chairman Mr. Zou Xiaoping, President Mr. Liang Zongren, and Chief Financial Officer Mr. He Weihua attended the event. Senior executives engaged in real-time discussions with investors through an online platform, fostering open and transparent communication.

Mr. Wang Zhe, Director of the Financial Investment Management Department, delivered a detailed presentation covering the company’s operational performance, key achievements, representative service projects, and strategic development outlook.

Strong Financial Performance with Significant Profit Growth

In the first half of 2025, Daming International achieved sales revenue of approximately RMB 21.2 billion and a net profit of RMB 22.8 million, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 141.6%. Gross profit totaled RMB 554 million, representing a 7.6% increase compared to the same period last year.

The company’s two core business segments—stainless steel and carbon steel—maintained stable growth. Stainless steel processing sales reached 996,000 tons, up 3.1% year-on-year, while processed carbon steel reached 2.391 million tons, with the total processing volume rising by 6.6% to 2.444 million tons. These results reflect the company’s enhanced production efficiency, improved market competitiveness, and strong overall momentum.

Execution of Major Projects Across Key Industries

During the reporting period, Daming International successfully executed numerous benchmark projects across various sectors, further strengthening its reputation as a comprehensive service solutions provider:

  • Shipbuilding: Hubei Daming, in collaboration with a Jiangxi shipyard, launched a 135-meter high-end stainless steel chemical tanker project for the European market (certified by Lloyd’s Register). Zhejiang Daming supplied plate solutions for Zhoushan Ningxing’s 13,000 DWT duplex stainless steel tanker.
  • Engineering & Logistics: Daming Heavy Industry produced ultra-large tonnage mining truck boxes for Southern Hemisphere markets and facilitated the transfer of over 1,000 tons of equipment, including a record-setting lift of over 800 tons at the Yangtze River Terminal.
  • Chemical: Over 1,600 tons of stainless steel were delivered for Hubei Qianxin’s 600,000-ton acetic acid project. Shandong and Tianjin Daming advanced international storage tank projects and high-end prefabrication solutions.
  • Automotive: Chongqing Daming and Chongqing Steel jointly secured a supply contract with Chongqing Qingling Special-Purpose Vehicles, successfully entering its strategic supply chain.

Accelerating Overseas Expansion and Global Market Integration

Daming International continues to advance its globalization strategy. Following the establishment of its European subsidiary in Germany, the company officially inaugurated its Russian representative office in Moscow in 2025, further strengthening its international service network.

In addition, Daming has expanded its outreach in Southeast Asia and the Americas while deepening collaborations with globally renowned enterprises, including Vietnam’s LILAMA Group, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Toshiba Energy, Chiyoda Chemical, and Komatsu. These strategic alliances span LNG, clean energy, marine engineering, and new energy sectors, further promoting Daming’s Made in China + Global Service model.

Driving Innovation Through Smart Manufacturing and Industrial Synergy

Technological innovation and industrial collaboration remain pillars of Daming International’s long-term strategy. The company’s subsidiary, Daming Heavy Industry, signed strategic cooperation agreements with Dongfang Steam Turbine and Dongfang Digital Technology, including contracts for intelligent manufacturing and module assembly in the energy sector.

Daming also made major strides in smart manufacturing. Hubei Daming successfully built Central China’s first dual-gigabit + cloud + AI smart steel processing factory, which received the Guanghua Cup Innovation Demonstration Award. The factory integrates 5G and AI technology to enable:

  • Automated inbound and outbound logistics
  • Real-time data tracking through code scanning
  • Smart production scheduling via RPA robots
  • Significant gains in efficiency and profitability, with annual economic benefits exceeding RMB 10 million

With continuous growth and outstanding performance, Daming International was once again listed in the 2025 Fortune China 500, ranking 327th—its 13th consecutive year on the list.
