Jingjiang Daming Nears Completion of New 3,000-Ton Press Brake Installation

Jingjiang Daming is nearing completion of the installation of a new 3,000-ton press brake after nearly two months of work. Scheduled to enter operation in November, the equipment will expand the company’s capacity for heavy-duty bending, thick plate processing and large structural component fabrication.

Bending plays a critical role in the fabrication of heavy and oversized metal components, where equipment capacity and precision are essential to achieving dimensional accuracy, forming quality and production efficiency. With the addition of this high-capacity press brake, Jingjiang Daming will be better equipped to process thick plates and large, complex components, extending its capabilities to more demanding fabrication applications.

Installation has involved foundation preparation, equipment positioning and lifting, followed by precision alignment and commissioning. The Jingjiang Daming team has coordinated closely throughout the process, maintaining strict control over safety and installation quality to ensure the equipment is ready for scheduled operation.

The new machine will work alongside the existing 3,000-ton Ursviken press brake from Sweden. Together, the two machines will provide greater flexibility and capacity for heavy-duty bending operations, helping improve forming consistency and shorten lead times while supporting a broader range of customer requirements.

This investment further strengthens Jingjiang Daming’s integrated metal processing capabilities, enabling the company to take on more demanding projects involving thick plates, oversized components and complex structures, with greater efficiency and precision.
