Daming Yangtze River Terminal Expands Logistics Services with Record Growth and New Business Development

Daming Yangtze River Terminal has achieved steady growth through expanded logistics services and improved operational efficiency. Recently, the terminal reached a record monthly throughput of 129,000 tons, while external business revenue exceeded 45% of total revenue, reflecting the effectiveness of its diversified service strategy and enhanced market capabilities.

To better support customers with diverse transportation requirements, Daming Yangtze River Terminal has continued to expand beyond traditional cargo handling operations.

The newly developed bulk bag vessel handling service completed 65,000 tons of operations within six months, providing an additional logistics solution for customers requiring flexible bulk cargo transportation. Meanwhile, heavy cargo handling reached 12,800 tons during the same period, demonstrating the terminal’s capability in managing large-scale and high-value cargo while improving overall service efficiency.

By working closely with steel industry partners, Daming Yangtze River Terminal has further enhanced its liner transportation services.

The dedicated liner route developed together with steel mill logistics partners achieved more than 110,000 tons of throughput within six months. The efficient operation of this route has improved transportation coordination across the supply chain and strengthened the terminal’s role in supporting regional steel logistics.

To improve logistics efficiency for Jingjiang Base, Daming Yangtze River Terminal has developed customized multimodal transportation solutions based on different cargo characteristics and delivery requirements.

For large components such as XCMG truck body components, ship sections, and steel plates, dedicated water transportation routes have been established to improve handling efficiency. For modular components and other materials, flexible short-distance land transportation services have been introduced to support faster cargo turnover.

These integrated logistics solutions help reduce transportation costs, improve delivery efficiency, and provide reliable supply chain support for production operations at Jingjiang Base.
