On September 7, 2026, Daming International and Daming Heavy Industry representatives visited the FLS headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, to discuss market developments, upcoming projects and opportunities to further expand cooperation in mining equipment.<\/p>\n

The meeting brought together senior representatives from both companies, including Daming International Chairman Zhou Keming, Daming Heavy Industry Group President Luo Zhihui, Vice President and General Manager of Energy Equipment Wang Xi, Marketing Director Ren Lei, and Johnny Fornstedt, General Manager of Daming International Europe. FLS was represented by Qasim Abrahams, President of Service, together with senior leaders from supply chain, global strategic procurement, quality, and grinding mill and kiln spare parts procurement.<\/p>\n

FLS shared its latest project pipeline and procurement outlook, highlighting continued growth in spare parts demand and steady progress in new project development. As FLS continues to strengthen its global market presence, demand for reliable manufacturing and supply capabilities is also increasing.<\/p>\n

Daming provided an update on recent developments in the mining equipment market and the delivery of key projects. Particular attention was given to the expansion of Daming Heavy Industry’s manufacturing capacity. The planned Plant No. 10 will add new machining resources and large-scale assembly capabilities, including newly invested machining equipment and a 600-ton gantry crane serving a dedicated outdoor assembly area. The expansion is designed to support the production and delivery of increasingly large and complex mining equipment components.<\/p>\n

The two companies also formally renewed their strategic partnership. FLS President Qasim Abrahams and Daming International Chairman Zhou Keming signed a strategic partnership certificate, confirming plans to expand cooperation in heavy-machined components, including grinding mills and kiln shells. The agreement strengthens the long-term relationship between the two companies and provides a broader framework for cooperation across global projects.<\/p>\n

As part of the meeting, FLS and Daming also confirmed a major new order covering multiple grinding mills for three large-scale projects. The order includes two sets of extra-large-diameter semi-autogenous grinding (SAG) mill shells, marking an important step in Daming Heavy Industry’s expansion into the large-scale mining equipment market.<\/p>\n

The new order reflects growing confidence in Daming’s manufacturing capabilities and its ability to support demanding large-equipment projects.
