Du Huajun’s Master Studio Receives National Recognition and Ministerial-Level Support

Du Huajun’s Master Studio has achieved a significant milestone with Du Huajun’s recent selection for China’s Manufacturing Talent Support Program, a national initiative jointly launched by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.

On December 16, Zhang Sheng, Secretary and Director of the Wuxi Xishan District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, led a delegation to Daming to personally congratulate Du Huajun—recognized as a “National Craftsman”—and present him with the official certificate. The event was attended by senior executives from Daming International, including Chairman Zhou Keming, Party Committee Secretary and Vice Chairman Zou Xiaoping, Executive Vice President Qian Li, and Deputy Party Committee Secretary Zhang Lihong, highlighting the importance of this recognition for both the company and the local manufacturing ecosystem.

The Manufacturing Talent Support Program is designed to strengthen the foundations of China’s manufacturing sector by identifying and supporting outstanding professionals in key industrial fields. Each year, the program selects leading talents in three categories: innovative entrepreneurs, advanced manufacturing technology experts, and specialists in fundamental manufacturing processes. Candidates undergo a highly competitive selection process and are evaluated on their technical expertise, industry leadership, and practical impact.

Du Huajun was named to the national list of Advanced Basic Process Talents, a distinction reserved for professionals with extensive hands-on experience and proven contributions to solving complex production challenges. Recipients are recognized not only for technical excellence, but also for their ability to deliver measurable economic and social value. The honor comes with dedicated funding to support the further development of Du Huajun’s Master Studio.

Commenting on the recognition, Du Huajun said he plans to continue expanding the studio’s collaborative and digital capabilities, with a focus on developing skilled professionals and supporting a wider range of industrial projects. He also emphasized closer cooperation across the supply chain, helping partner companies address technical challenges and improve overall manufacturing performance.
